Governors

Message from the Chair of Governors – Mr Paul Blott

I am proud to work collectively with a range of talented fellow governors who give freely of their time to support the Headteacher and his staff to deliver a high-quality learning experience for boys which will stand them in good stead for the rigours of adult life.

We strive for excellence and aim to ensure that our school offers boys a safe, nurturing, supportive learning environment in which they can thrive and achieve. We ignite a passion for learning and personal development which helps build confident, respectful young men who contribute positively to the school community and wider society.

The key functions of the Governing Body are to:

  • Ensure clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction.
  • Hold the Headteacher and other senior leaders to account for the educational performance of the organisation and its pupils, and the effective and efficient performance management of staff.
  • Oversee the financial performance of the school and ensure that public money is well spent.

Should you wish to contact me you can do so via e-mail at [email protected] alternatively you can contact Karen Anslow, Clerk to the Governing Body via the school office.
